MapTiler Desktop allows users to create their own watermark. This functionality is available in the MapTiler Desktop PRO version. Creating a custom watermark is available in the Advanced options, which can be adjusted after the image is georeferenced. The watermark can be created either from an image or a text, a combination of both is currently not supported.
Image as a watermark
To create a watermark from an image, load the file in PNG format by clicking on the image file link. The watermark is randomly distributed on each of the 256x256 pix tiles.
If you want to have your watermark aligned regularly in a grid, create a 256x256 pix image with a watermark inside. The size 256x256 pix is the limit.
Text as a watermark
Click on the text link and write the desired text.
MapTiler currently supports only in-line notation.
Opacity is the opposite of transparency. Move the slider to adjust the opacity.
0% opacity = transparent image/text
100% opacity = normal image/text (opaque)
