MapTiler Engine allows you to place your own watermark in the output. Adding a custom watermark is available in the Watermark tab of the application settings. You can choose of using an image file or setting a text watermark. This functionality is available in the MapTiler Engine Pro.
Image as a watermark
To create a watermark from an image, navigate to the corresponding settings, choose the "Image" option and choose the image file (3 or 4 banded). The maximum allowed file size is 256x256 px, which is the size of one tile.
Once you have your image loaded, you can adjust the opacity, which will the used when placing the image on the map - 100% for fully visible and 1% for almost transparent. Be careful in case your image already has the opacity, you'll probably want to have this setting left at 100%, since these opacities will combine and your image can easily become almost invisible.
The watermark image is then randomly distributed on each of the 256x256 px tiles, as can be seen in the picture below. If you want to have your watermark aligned regularly in a grid, create a 256x256 px image with a watermark located inside.
Custom text as a watermark
If you for any reason don't have a prepared watermark image file, this option will help you to watermark your output by simply creating a text label and customizing it according to your preferences. To get the desired result, you can play with the font settings, as well as with the opacity. After every change, the preview below will refresh.
